MILANG MEDIUM TAB LEATHER WALLET- A-0023-BLACK

The Milang wallet is a compact and functional piece that echoes the tranquil, historic character of this former lakeside port on the shores of Lake Alexandrina. The design details and craftsmanship pay homage to Milang's 19th-century boom with its artisanal textures and patterns inspired by the unique meeting of the lake and land whereas the central woven tab closure mirrors the interlocking timber and ironwork of the Milang Jetty, a landmark that has stood since the 1850s. The organized, multi-fold interior, featuring structured card slots and a secure zip-around compartment, reflects the mechanical efficiency of the Milang Railway Station.

The sturdy brass zipper and hardware are as resilient as the washed genuine leather adding a supple slightly distressed finish with durable weathered charm, evoking a sophisticated style and heritage legacy reminiscent of driftwood and the aged timber of the historic boats that once navigated the Murray.

Inconsistency in colour, texture and tone of leather is a natural and unique characteristic, not a defect. Leather also ages and fades with time, as this is another natural characteristic of this material, and constant exposure to direct sunlight may speed up this process.
To maintain the condition and longevity of your Saddle & Sash Leather products and prevent them from aging and fading, we recommend you regularly treat your leather with a leather moisturising conditioner and store them in a cool, dry place out of the sun.
