Secrid Miniwallet Art Mauritshuis Pearl
Secrid Miniwallet Art Mauritshuis Pearl
Secrid has created a collection of wallets inspired by Dutch masterpieces from the Mauritshuis in The Hague: A small world-class museum with a formidable collection of Dutch painting from the age of Rembrandt and Vermeer. The Girl with a Pearl Earring is one the most iconic works of the Dutch Masters. Vermeer was the master of light. This is shown here in the softness of the girl’s face and the glimmers of light on her moist lips. And of course the pearl, consisting only of a few masterfully placed brushstrokes, which takes center stage on the wallet.
Supple Italian calf leather serves as the base for the Art collection. The art works have been printed on the leather in exquisite detail. Showing the smallest details such as the cracks in the paint. An engraving on the inside of the wallet tells of the paintings and in which museum it can be found.
Based on the Secrid Cardprotector, the Miniwallet is both a compact and secure wallet. In addition to the cards in the Cardprotector, the interior offers space for a few cards, paper money, receipts, business cards and some coins. A special anodised aluminium casing prevent the cards from damaging, falling out and digital pickpockets. The Secrid cardholder is designed and made in Holland and has won the prestigious Red Dot Design Award.
The Miniwallet is compact and, because of the press stud closure, easy to carry.
The Card Protector compartment can hold up to six cards with embossing. Some cards have thickened letters, this is called embossing. You can store up to six cards in the Cardprotector, including one with embossing. Or up to five cards, three of which with embossing.
